Ratings: Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle” Holds Up Well in Week Two

Not a one-week wonder, Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle” again ranked as Thursday’s highest-rated original cable program.

Thursday’s episode, which featured Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, drew a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating with 1.8 million viewers.

The performance compares well to those of last week’s back-to-back premiere episodes. Last Thursday’s 10PM launch drew a 1.0 rating with 2.2 million viewers, while the 10:30PM follow-up posted a 0.9 with 2.0 million.

Whether “Lip Sync Battle” will remain potent over the long run remains to be seen, but it definitely deserves credit for its stellar second week performance.
