Ratings: FX’s “The Americans” Improves This Week; Viewership Tops 1 Million

In posting a 0.35 adults 18-49 rating with 1.035 million viewers, Wednesday’s “The Americans” ended a streak of declines.

Better than that of last week’s episode, which drew a 0.25 adults 18-49 rating with 895,000 viewers, the episode was the first since the March 11 installment to enjoy week-over-week increases in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

It was, meanwhile, the first since the March 18 broadcast to post a viewership total in excess of 1 million.

Of the eleven season three episodes that have aired, only five have topped the million viewer mark. No season one or two episode attracted fewer than 1.12 million.

Despite the year-over-year decline and general modesty of its performance, “The Americans” has been renewed for a fourth season.
