The hottest seller on iTunes received this week’s warmest welcome at pop radio.

Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth’s “See You Again,” which furiously surged to the #1 spot on iTunes in conjunction with the release of “Furious 7,” earned adds from 40 monitored pop stations this week.

According to Mediabase, that earns “See You Again” the format’s most added distinction.

The healthy wave of support will help “See You Again” continue its climb on the pop radio airplay chart. Per Mediabase, it already ranks as the format’s 46th-most-played song.

Not exclusive to pop radio, “See You Again” also generated healthy interest at rhythmic radio. The song, which is currently #41 on Mediabase’s rolling rhythmic airplay chart, received 13 weekly adds at the format. It ranks as rhythmic’s second-most added song.

Cut from the “Furious 7” soundtrack, “See You Again” plays during the film’s tribute to the late Paul Walker (and his character Brian O’Conner).

As far as pop radio goes, several other songs received notable attention this week.

Added by 27 stations each, David Guetta’s “Hey Mama (featuring Nicki Minaj and Afrojack)” and Martin Garrix’ “Don’t Look Down (featuring Usher)” tie for second-most added. Nate Ruess’ “Nothing Without Love,” which is the current iHeartRadio “On the Verge” song follows with 24 adds, while DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” and Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” tie for fifth-most added. Each earned pickups from 19 monitored stations.

Walk the Moon’s surging “Shut up and Dance” earns seventh-most added on the strength of its 13 pickups, add counts of 12 lock Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink),” Iggy Azalea’s “Trouble (featuring Jennifer Hudson),” R5’s “Let’s Not Be Alone Tonight” and Skrillex & Diplo’s “Where Are U Now (featuring Justin Bieber)” into a tie for eighth-most added.
