Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” Repeats as Hot AC Radio’s Most Added

Armed with considerable momentum and the support of the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program, Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” again ranks as hot adult contemporary radio’s most added track.

“Fight Song” topped last week’s add board with 16 monitored adds. According to Mediabase, this week’s distinction is attributable to pickups from 18 new stations.

The latest wave of support comes as “Fight Song” continues to gain impressive traction on the airplay chart. Currently the #19 song at hot adult contemporary, Platten’s single ranks as the format’s fastest riser. Its weekly spin count of 1,448 bests last week’s total by a whopping 568 plays.

Like last week, this week’s second-most added distinction falls to Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband.” The single, which is up to #31 on the rolling airplay chart, received 17 monitored adds this week.

Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” follows thanks to its 11 weekly adds, while Mumford & Sons’ “Believe” (10 adds) and The Weeknd’s “Earned It” (8 adds) rank as fourth- and fifth-most added, respectively.
