While an “Afro & Deziak” skit involving Pharrell and Jimmy Fallon is sure to make early waves, it is not the only “The Tonight Show” segment that features a notable musical act.
Wednesday’s edition of the NBC talk show also features a performance by alternative crossover act Milky Chance.
The German duo conquered America with its infectious “Stolen Dance” last year, and its attention now turns to carving out a lasting place within the US music community. Delivering in front of the millions of “Tonight Show” viewers will certainly assist in that effort.
The aforementioned “Stolen Dance” spent several weeks atop the US alternative radio airplay chart. Milky Chance is now charting at the format with “Flashed Junk Mind.”
Taped Wednesday afternoon, the performance airs as part of Wednesday night’s “Tonight Show” episode. Airing at 11:35PM ET, the episode also features interviews with Pharrell and Mark Burnett & Roma Downey.
