Kacey Musgraves’ new single “Biscuits” is officially bubbling under the Billboard Hot 100.
Supported by early radio airplay and a decent first week sales total, “Biscuits” debuts at #22 on the “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart.
That chart lists the top songs that have yet to chart on the actual Billboard Hot 100.
In addition to landing on the “Bubbling Under” chart, Musgraves’ song also boasts a presence on charts specific to the country genre. Driven by first week sales of ~25,000, “Biscuits” debuts at #5 on the Country Digital Songs chart.
It meanwhile holds the #42 spot (+9) on the audience-driven Billboard Country Airplay chart. It received 3.056 million audience impressions during the most recent tracking week.
“Biscuits” is the lead single from Musgraves’ forthcoming follow-up to “Same Trailer, Different Park.”
If it ends up reaching the actual Hot 100, it would follow “Follow Your Arrow” (peak of #60) and “Merry Go ‘Round (peak of #88) as her third song to do so.
