Ratings: AMC’s “Better Call Saul” Rises Again

Make that two straight weeks of adults 18-49 and total viewership gains for AMC’s “Better Call Saul.”

After rising to a 1.31 adults 18-49 rating with 2.67 million viewers last week, this Monday’s edition of “Saul” posted a 1.33 with 2.87 million.

While the show immediately revealed it had no prayer of performing like “The Walking Dead” or the final season of its “Breaking Bad” mothership, its ratings never offered a hint of worry about its strength as a cable drama.

Its consecutive ratings upticks, meanwhile, offer very encouraging news. They suggest that the show has established a loyal–and very respectably sized–core audience.
