Hot 100: Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” Claims #1 for 10th Week

Still unwilling to cede the throne, Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” earns a tenth consecutive week atop the Billboard Hot 100.

The blockbuster release becomes just the 29th song to spend at least ten weeks atop the all-encompassing Hot 100 chart.

The continued dominance of “Funk” means that Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” must stay put at #2. The song claims #1 on the pop, adult contemporary and adult pop airplay charts, but it remains a runner-up on the most definitive single track listing.

Maroon 5’s “Sugar” follows at #3 this week, while Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” remains #4. Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney’s “FourFiveSeconds” claims the final Top 5 spot.

Other members of the weekly top ten: Taylor Swift’s “Style” (#6), The Weeknd’s “Earned It” (#7), Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” (#8), Pitbull’s “Time Of Our Lives (featuring Ne-Yo)” (#9) and Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.”
