Cole Swindell, Chris Young Join the Top 5 on the Country Airplay Chart

In addition to a new #1 in Jason Aldean’s “Just Gettin’ Started,” the weekly Billboard Country Airplay chart features two new top five entries.

Cole Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” and Chris Young’s “Lonely Eyes,” those two songs, rise to #4 and #5 on the chart, respectively.

Swindell’s tune, which was #7 last week, claims #4 on the strength of its 37.606 million weekly audience impressions. It follows “Chillin’ It” (#2 peak) and “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight” (#1 peak) as the artist’s third consecutive top five hit.

Young’s “Lonely Eyes” earns #5 courtesy its 36.933 million audience impressions. It was #6 on last week’s chart.

It becomes Young’s ninth top 5 hit.

The balance of the top five includes Brett Eldredge’s #2 “Mean to Me” and Blake Shelton’s #3 “Lonely Tonight (featuring Ashley Monroe).”

Also on the move this week:

— Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” enters the Top 10 at #9 (+2).

— A Thousand Horses’ “Smoke” reaches the Top 15 at #15 (+1).

— Tim McGraw’s “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools (with Catherine Dunn)” rises two places to a new peak of #20.
