Fifth Harmony, Michael Ray Set for iHeartRadio “On the Verge” Boosts

Mainstream girl group Fifth Harmony and rising country artist Michael Ray are the latest names due to receive support from iHeartRadio’s “On the Verge” program.

Fifth Harmony will receive the coveted boost for new single “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink).” The third official single from the group’s “Reflection,” “Worth It” impacted rhythmic and pop this week and is already within the rolling top 40 at both formats.

iHeartRadio’s “On the Verge” boost, which provides guaranteed airplay from iHeartMedia stations, will apply at the rhythmic format, says Hits Daily Double. iHeartRadio has not yet confirmed a start date for the push, which will also include branding support on its digital/social channels.

Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” was the previous selection at rhythmic. A massive success, it is currently #6 on Mediabase’s rolling’s rhythmic chart, #6 on Billboard Rhythmic Songs and making a simultaneous splash at pop radio.

Michael Ray, meanwhile, will enjoy iHeart support for his “Kiss You in the Morning.” According to Warner Music, the song’s “On the Verge” campaign begins at country radio on March 9.

“Kiss You” takes over for A Thousand Horses’ “Smoke,” which is up to #17 on the rolling Mediabase country chart.
