The day’s final ratings report might bring a slight downward adjustment for “Reign,” but it will not bring the news that the series completely tanked in this week’s competitive 9PM hour.
While lead-in “The Vampire Diaries” similarly matched its previous adults 18-49 rating (0.7), it took a more notable hit in total viewership. Thursday’s edition of the 8PM drama drew 1.41 million viewers. If that total holds in the finals, it will represent the lowest mark ever for a “TVD” episode.
