Drake, “50 Shades” Lead Imagine Dragons on iTunes Album Sales Chart

While the overall album sales race might paint a more favorable picture, Imagine Dragons’ new “Smoke + Mirrors” has thus far been able to charge past two holdovers on the iTunes Album Sales chart.

As of press time, Imagine Dragons’ sophomore release trails Drake’s surprise “If You’re Reading This it’s Too Late” (#1) and the “50 Shades of Grey” soundtrack (#2) on the aforementioned iTunes listing.

Taylor Swift’s enduring “1989” and Ed Sheeran’s Grammy-nominated “x” claim the final two respective Top 5 slots.

Other top sellers include Aaron Watson’s new “The Underdog” (#7), Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life” (#7), Beck’s “Morning Phase” (#8), J. Cole’s “2014 Forest Hills Drive” (#9) and Sam Smith’s “In the Lonely Hour” (#10).
