Echosmith’s “Bright” Goes Top 40 on Billboard’s Pop Songs Chart

Echosmith by Jonathan Weiner

While it will have to wait until next Sunday to officially claim a top 40 position on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart, Echosmith’s “Bright” does enter that portion of the latest Billboard Pop Songs listing.

Billboard’s version of the pop airplay breakdown welcomes “Bright” at the #39 position. The news comes a week after the Echosmith release entered the Top 40 of Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs (hot adult contemporary) chart.

Ariana Grande’s “One Last Time” (#28), Tori Kelly’s “Nobody Love” (#33) and Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” (#38) also reach the Top 40 on Pop Songs this week. Unlike “Bright,” the three tunes are already top 40 hits on the corresponding Mediabase listing.

“Bright” is the follow-up to Echosmith’s breakthrough hit “Cool Kids.”
