Halestorm’s “Apocalyptic” Goes Top 5 on Mainstream Rock Songs

The lead single from Halestorm’s forthcoming “Into the Wild Life” is already a top five hit at mainstream rock radio.

“Apocalyptic,” that single, grabs the #5 spot on this week’s edition of the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart. This is its fourth week on the chart.

Up four places from last week’s position, “Apocalyptic” provides Halestorm with its first visit to the top 5 since “Freak Like Me” reached the chart’s apex in 2013. It is the band’s fourth top five Mainstream Rock Songs single overall [following “Freak Like Me,” “I Miss the Misery” and “Love Bites (So Do I)”].

Per Nielsen BDS, Halestorm’s “Apocalyptic” commanded 1,139 mainstream rock spins during the tracking week.

Three Days Grace’s “I Am Machine” reigns over the chart for a third consecutive week. Seether’s “Same Damn Life” (#2), Five Finger Death Punch’s “Wrong Side of Heaven” (#3) and Papa Roach’s “Face Everything and Rise” (#4) also claim positions within the top 5.
