Grammys: Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” Also Claims Records of the Year

The awards portion of the 57th Annual Grammy Awards is over, and it resulted in four victories for Sam Smith.

Three of those victories came in “Big Four” categories.

Already revealed as a winner for Best New Artist and Song of the Year, Smith also took the trophy for Record of the Year.

His smash hit defeated Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass,” Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” Sia’s “Chandelier” and Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX’s “Fancy” to claim the coveted prize.

Smith’s only defeats this year came in the Album of the Year (won by Beck’s “Morning Phase”) and Pop Solo Performance (won by Pharrell for “Happy”) categories.
