Hot 100: Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter,” Taylor Swift’s “Style” Reach Top 30

So appealing to programmers, Nicki Minaj’s “Truffle Butter (featuring Drake and Lil Wayne)” and Taylor Swift’s “Style” began waves at multiple radio formats before even being declared official singles.

In recent weeks, both received that formal designation from Republic Records. This week, both reach the Top 30 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Minaj’s “Truffle Butter” makes the more explosive gain this week. The song, which became a major factor on iTunes during the tracking week (and continues to enjoy strong airplay), rises a whopping 44 places to its new peak of #27.

“Style,” meanwhile, improves its position by eight slots. It grabs a new high mark of #29 on this week’s chart.
