Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” Goes Platinum

As Ariana Grande transitions from “Love Me Harder” to new single “One Last Time,” she can celebrate the knowledge that the former song is officially a platinum single.

In a press release Thursday, the RIAA confirmed that it certified the song as a platinum digital single on January 30. The designation confirms the song now possesses a digital unit total in excess of 1 million (one unit is equal to one digital sale or one hundred digital streams).

“Love Me Harder,” which jointly credits Ariana Grande and duet partner The Weeknd, is the fourth platinum single from Grande’s platinum-certified “My Everything” (following the multi-platinum hits “Problem,” “Bang Bang” and “Break Free”).

Grande’s new single “One Last Time” formally impacts pop radio on February 10.
