Kenny Chesney’s “Wild Child” is Country Radio’s Most-Added (Updated)

Update: Kenny Chesney’s new single “Wild Child” ranks as country’s most-added song this week.

The follow-up to “Til It’s Gone” scored pickups from 61 monitored Mediabase stations.

Other hot options for country programmers included Kip Moore’s “I’m to Blame” (2nd-most-added, 44 adds), Parmalee’s “Already Callin’ You Mine” (3rd-most-added, 40 adds), Keith Urban’s “Raise ‘Em Up (featuring Eric Church)” (4th-most-added, 25 adds) and Brad Paisley’s “Crushin’ It’ (5th-most-added, 18 adds).

“American Kids” and “Til It’s Gone,” the first two singles from Kenny Chesney’s “The Big Revival,” both hit #1 at country radio.

Chesney’s hope of improving to 3-for-3 rests on new single “Wild Child (with Grace Potter).”

And while the road to the top of the country radio chart is a long run, the single is officially off to a promising start.

According to Mediabase, “Wild Child” scored 61 monitored adds in conjunction with its official impact. It was the week’s most-added song.

A more detailed add report will be available Monday evening.
