Ratings: FOX’s “Empire” Once Again Adds Viewers

For the first time in three tries, an episode of FOX’s “Empire” did not best its predecessor in the adults 18-49 demographic.

This week’s episode did, however, score a third consecutive viewership increase.

According to final broadcast data, Wednesday’s edition of FOX’s “Empire” drew a 4.3 adults 18-49 rating with 11.36 million viewers.

The episode’s adults 18-49 rating trails the 4.4 commanded by last week’s installment. This week’s viewership count, however, bests its predecessor’s 11.07 million audience total total.

FOX led into its fourth “Empire” broadcast with an hourlong “American Idol.” It drew a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating with 11.28 million viewers.
