Ratings: “Total Divas” Holds Up, “Christina Milian Turned Up” Adds Viewers

Indicative of the distinction between the “Total Divas” audience and the core WWE audience, Sunday’s edition of the reality show held up in the ratings despite competition from the Royal Rumble.

Airing against the second hour of WWE’s network/PPV offering, the E! show matched last week’s 0.6 adults 18-49 rating. Viewership did, however, slip to 1.21 million. The previous episode attracted 1.25 million.

Granted, insofar as this week’s “Total Divas” did not face blockbuster competition from the AFC Championship (and instead battled a more modestly rated Pro Bowl broadcast), it is possible this week’s episode would have bested last week’s telecast had the Royal Rumble not aired. So while it is true that the show did hold up in the ratings this week, it is not a certainty that no potential “Total Divas” viewers were drawn away by the Rumble.

— E! followed “Total Divas” with the second episode of “Christina Milian Turned Up.” Even with last week’s 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, the new series nonetheless bested its premiere in total viewers. After attracting 0.74 million viewers in week one, the show drew 0.84 million in week two.
