Halestorm’s “Apocalyptic” Debuts at #21 on the Rock Airplay Chart

Three songs enter the Top 40 of Mediabase’s active rock airplay chart this week, but none makes a splash as big as Halestorm’s “Apocalyptic.”

The band’s latest starts at #21 on the official active rock chart. According to Mediabase, the song, which debuted in the tracking period, commanded 545 spins between January 11 and January 17.

“Apocalyptic” should also start impressively on Billboard’s corresponding Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Its position on that listing will be revealed late Monday afternoon.

As for the Mediabase chart, two other songs entered the top 40 this week.

— Kid Rock’s “First Kiss” rises eighteen places to #36.

— Islander’s “New Wave” jumps five places to #39.
