Hot 100: Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” Starts at #45

That Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” was pop radio’s most-added song this week suggests it could be in store for a meaningful run.

That run begins just outside the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.

Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do,” which comes from the “50 Shades of Grey” soundtrack, opens at #45 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

In debuting at #45, “Love Me” immediately becomes Ellie Goulding’s third-highest-charting lead release. Higher peaks came courtesy her #2 hit “Lights” and #13 success “Burn.”

As a featured artist, Goulding went as high as #16 via Calvin Harris’ “I Need Your Love.”

The week’s other notable debuts:

— Sia’s “Elastic Heart” begins its run at #17.

— Chris Brown & Tyga’s “Ayo” opens at #40.

— Fall Out Boy’s instant gratification release “Irresistible” bows at #77.

— Sophia Grace’s “Best Friends” enters at #87.

— I Prevail’s cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” arrives at #90.

— B.o.B.’s “Not for Long (featuring Trey Songz)” joins at #96.

— Omarion’s “Post to Be (featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko)” commences its run at #98.

— Hoodie Allen’s “All About It (featuring Ed Sheeran)” grabs the #100 slot.
