Empire’s “Good Enough” Soars Into Top 40 on Single Sales Chart

In its review of the “Empire” season premiere, Headline Planet declared that its Justin Timberlake-esque ballad “Good Enough” was “the [song] with the greatest potential to do damage on iTunes.”

“Good Enough,” which is sung by cast member Jussie Smollett, has lived up to that billing.

As of press time, the song was up to #36 on the all-genre iTunes single sales chart. While not as dominant on iTunes as “Empire” was in the ratings, the position is still very impressive for a song from a television soundtrack.

The first episode’s best-selling recording, “Good Enough” is not, however, the only track making an impact. “What is Love,” which was performed by Veronika Bozeman in the show’s first scene, is up to #59 on the chart.

Other “Empire” tracks:
218 – “Live in the Moment”
326 – “No Apologies”
353 – “Right There”
621 – “Armani”
