Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” Goes Top 20 at Pop Radio

After a hiatus in observance of the holiday season’s impact on airplay, Mediabase has finally issued an official chart update.

With it comes very favorable news for Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer.”

The recipient of 3,628 spins during the December 28-January 3 tracking period, “Sledgehammer” officially registers as the #20 song on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

“Sledgehammer,” which recently became the group’s first top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, is now its first top 20 hit on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Fifth Harmony’s previous pop radio peak came courtesy debut single “Miss Movin’ On,” which went as high as #25 on the listing.

“Bo$$,” the direct predecessor to “Sledgehammer,” never went higher than #36 on an official Mediabase listing.

— Other new top 20 entries:

_ Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” which had already reached the top 20 on a rolling edition of the chart, makes its status official this week. Per Mediabase’s update, it was the #17 song during the December 28-January 3 tracking period.

_ One Direction’s “Night Changes” reaches #19.
