Hot 100: Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer” Rises to New High

Move over, “Miss Movin’ On.”

Benefiting from rising sales and airplay, Fifth Harmony’s current single “Sledgehammer” rises to #75 on the weekly Billboard Hot 100. Up nineteen places from last week’s position, the “Reflection” single is sitting at a new peak.

It also is sitting one place higher than debut single “Miss Movin’ On” ever reached on the all-encompassing Billboard track chart. That track, which was the lead release from the group’s 2013 “Better Together” EP, peaked at #76.

Fellow “Reflection” single “BO$$,” which benefited from a strong initial sales week, still represents Fifth Harmony’s highest-charting release. It debuted (and peaked) at #43 earlier this year.

Owing to its growing radio exposure and discounted price ($0.69) on iTunes, “Sledgehammer” began surging on the all-genre sales chart last week. That its growth is continuing this week–the song is up to #30 on the chart–bodes well for an even higher position on next week’s all-encompassing Hot 100.
