After cancelling his November appearance in observance of the Ferguson protests, country legend Garth Brooks is due to visit NBC’s “TODAY” Show this January.
The network confirms that Brooks will appear during all three segments of the January 8 episode.
Brooks, who recently returned to the music scene courtesy album “Man Against Machine,” is booked for performances in the 7-9AM and 10-11AM portions. He will take part in an interview during the hour in between.
Other guests for that episode include Matt LeBlanc, Allison Williams, Terrance Howard and Patton Oswalt.
Currently light on performers (Brooks is the only musical guest confirmed thus far), NBC’s lineup for the first full week of 2015 does feature a healthy dose of interview guests. Kathy Griffin will promote “Fashion Police” during two segments of the January 5 episode, while Sophia Bush is set to do the same for her “Chicago PD” on January 6. Other upcoming guests include John Cena, Lena Dunham and Maggie Grace.
