Ratings: “American Horror Story” Falls to Another Season Low

Initial interest in “Freak Show” was hotter than it had ever previously been for an “American Horror Story” season.

That level of enthusiasm has since fallen below the level at which previous season “Coven” operated.

For the second consecutive week, an “American Horror Story: Freak Show” episode delivered a performance that not only ranks as a season low but as the weakest since the 2012-13 “Asylum” edition of the franchise.

This week’s episode drew a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating with 3.07 million viewers. Down from the 1.6 with 3.30 million drawn last week, the numbers considerably trail the 2.1 and 3.94 million delivered by the corresponding “Coven” episode, which aired on December 11, 2013.

Next week’s “AHS” will be the show’s final installment of 2014. It will conclude its fourth season in January.
