Hot 100: Maddie & Tae, RaeLynn Rise to New Highs This Week

Maddie & Tae [ABC]

Several weeks ago, Maddie & Tae’s “Girl in a Country Song” and RaeLynn’s “God Made Girls” simultaneously elevated to new highs on the Billboard Hot 100.

This week, the two songs do it again.

Benefiting from the airplay surge that took it to #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, Maddie & Tae’s “Girl” hits a new high of #54 on the all-encompassing chart. Its position bests last week’s mark by five.

RaeLynn’s “God Made Girls,” meanwhile, rockets twenty five places to a new peak of #61. The lift comes courtesy a performance on “The Voice,” which resulted in an immense gain to the sales portion of the song’s Hot 100 score (and produced a #1 position on the Country Digital Songs chart).

The Maddie & Tae and RaeLynn songs also improve their positions on the Hot Country Songs chart this week, where they register at #3 and #7, respectively.

Other Hot 100 country movers:

— Tim McGraw’s “Shotgun Rider,” the highest-charting country effort on the Hot 100, improves by four places to #43.

— Brad Paisley’s “Perfect Storm” is up seven places to #57.

— Eric Church’s “Talladega” registers at #60, which represents a nine-place gain.

— Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” jumps three spots to #65.

— Luke Bryan’s “I See You” soars to #70. It was #89 last week.

— Up by nine spots, Kenny Chesney’s “Til It’s Gone” is #73.

— Lee Brice’s “Drinking Class” hits #76 (+2).

— Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna” hits a new high of #83. It was #92 last week.

— Scotty McCreery’s “Feelin’ It” rises by one to #86.

— Brett Eldredge’s “Mean to Me” improves by nine. It clocks in at #88.

— Jason Aldean’s “Just Gettin’ Started” re-enters at #94, while Blake Shelton’s “Lonely Tonight (featuring Ashley Monroe)” debuts at #95.
