Mark Ronson Goes Top 20 at Pop; Charli XCX, One Direction Hit Top 25

Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars)” is moving on up the airplay chart.

The track, which continues to maintain an impressive #2 position on the iTunes all-genre sales chart, rises to #19 on Mediabase’s official pop radio chart. The two position rise comes on the strength of the 5,157 pop spins it received during the November 30-December 6 tracking week.

That weekly sum bests last week’s count by 1,153; only Taylor Swift’s #2 “Blank Space” (+2,890) enjoyed a greater week-over-week lift.

While “Uptown Funk” is the sole new addition to the top twenty, a pair of songs reach the top twenty five this week. Despite losing airplay this week, Charli XCX’s “Break the Rules” rises to #23 courtesy 2,799 weekly spins. One Direction’s “Night Changes,” meanwhile, grabs the #24 spot via 2,676 weekly spins.
