Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” is Now One of Pop’s 5 Most-Played

Providing reason for all but a few artists to be “Jealous,” Nick Jonas’ new single is now one of the five most-played songs at pop radio.

“Jealous” rises to #5 on Mediabase’s rolling airplay chart on the strength of the 12,517 spins it received over the seven days between November 29 and December 5. Tove Lo’s former #1 “Habits (Stay High),” which held the #5 position prior to Saturday’s rolling chart, slips to #6 courtesy a weekly spin count of 12,166.

Still gaining airplay (its week-over-week spin gain of 1,005 is the format’s third-greatest), Jonas’ song is a lock to retain its spot through the release of the official Mediabase chart Sunday evening. Already the first top ten radio hit of his career, it is less than thirty six hours away from becoming his first official top five.

Being pushed at multiple formats, “Jealous” is currently #27 at both hot adult contemporary and rhythmic radio.
