Sheppard’s “Geronimo,” Ariana’s “Love Me Harder” Hit Top 40 at Hot AC

Its pop push has been delayed until 2015, but Sheppard’s international hit “Geronimo” is beginning to make moves on the US’ hot adult contemporary radio format.

The track, which has also been pushed to alternative radio, grabs the #39 position on Mediabase’s official Hot AC airplay chart. Up seven places from last week’s position, the Australian smash received 359 spins during the November 23-29 tracking week.

Immensely buzzworthy, “Geronimo” holds the #56 position on the iTunes all-genre sales chart and is poised to soon debut on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Also new to the top forty this week is Ariana Grande & The Weeknd’s “Love Me Harder.” The latest “My Everything” single, which is already a top ten hit at pop radio, grabs the #40 slot (+4) thanks to 350 weekly spins.

— Despite losing spins this week, Lady Antebellum’s “Bartender” returns to the top forty at Hot AC this week. It lands at #37 (+4) thanks to 381 weekly spins.
