Ratings: “The Comeback” Gets Worse in Week Two

“The Comeback” did not enjoy a bounce back.

After garnering an abysmal 300,000 viewers for last week’s season premiere, the revived “Comeback” slipped even deeper into the basement this week. The episode’s viewership clocked in at just 183,000 viewers.

Its adults 18-49 rating, meanwhile, was down to a .06. Since the television media commonly rounds the adults 18-49 mark to one decimal place, “The Comeback” just narrowly avoided the dreaded 0.0 rating.

“The Newsroom,” which occupied the 9PM hour for HBO this Sunday, matched its season premiere adults 18-49 rating but enjoyed a slight viewership uptick. It drew a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.28 million viewers.

“Comeback” lead-out “Getting On” slipped to a .07 adults 18-49 rating with 232,000 viewers.
