Hot 100: Sam Smith Hits #11, Big Sean’s “IDFWU” Goes Top 15

Thanks to surging airplay, strong sales and a mammoth video view count, Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” appears poised to reach the top ten of next week’s Billboard Hot 100.

If additional top ten spots open up, Sam Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One” might be able to get into the action.

Still on the upward move at radio, Sam Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One” reaches a new peak #11 on this week’s all-encompassing Hot 100 chart. The follow-up to smash “Stay with Me” is up one place on this week’s chart.

Smith’s song is, fittingly, not the only one vying for a top ten spot next week. Ed Sheeran’s oscillating “Don’t,” which is also enjoying big gains at radio, will look to make its third appearance in the top ten. It is #12 on this week’s chart.

— Surging closely behind is Big Sean’s “I Don’t F**k with You (featuring E-40).” The track, which is already in the top ten at rhythmic radio, the top twenty at urban radio and the top fifty at pop radio, climbs eleven places to #15 on this week’s Hot 100.
