Maroon 5, Gwen Stefani to Perform on “The Voice” Next Week (Updated)

Update: Contrary to what was officially promoted by NBC, Gwen Stefani did not perform “Baby Don’t Lie” on Tuesday’s edition of “The Voice.”

The gig instead went to fellow coach Pharrell, who performed “Hunter.”

Three “The Voice” telecasts will air on NBC next week.

The first two will feature a performance from one of the show’s coaches.

The network announced Thursday that Maroon 5, which is fronted by coach Adam Levine, will provide surging hit “Animals” on the Monday, November 10 edition of the show. Pop’s greatest airplay gainer last week, “Animals” is up to #4 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

Fellow coach Gwen Stefani will then take the stage on November 11 to perform comeback single “Baby Don’t Lie.”
