Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space,” Meghan Trainor’s “Lips” Hit Top 30 on Pop Songs

Sunday evening, Mediabase revealed that Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” and Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” had climbed to #28 and #31, respectively, on its official pop radio airplay chart.

Monday, Billboard confirmed that both songs are in the Top 30 on its weekly Pop Songs airplay chart.

Swift’s “Blank Space,” which is the follow-up to her #1 hit “Shake it Off,” begins its Pop Songs run at #29. Still a week removed from its formal pop impact, “Space” is tracking like another smash for Swift.

“Lips,” meanwhile, lands at #30 on the Billboard chart. Like Swift’s single, it, too, is the follow-up to a #1 blockbuster (“All About That Bass,” in this case).

— As it did on Mediabase’s listing, Chris Brown’s “New Flame (featuring Usher and Rick Ross)” reaches #39 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.
