After avoiding a big drop in week three, FX’s “American Horror Story: Freak Show” managed to achieve a ratings increase in week four.

Wednesday’s episode drew a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating with 4.51 million viewers.

Almost identical to the performance of the 10/15 episode, which drew a 2.3 and 4.52 million, this week’s showing bests that of last week’s episode in both columns. Last Wednesday’s “Freak Show” drew a 2.2 rating with 4.44 million viewers.

To date, three of the four “Freak Show” broadcasts have outperformed the corresponding “American Horror Story: Coven” episodes. The fourth “Coven” installment, which aired on October 30, 2013, drew a 2.0 rating with 3.71 million viewers.
