One Direction, Lorde Join 5SOS, Charli XCX, Sam Smith at AMAs

The list of performers for the 2014 American Music Awards has grown by three.

The awards body confirmed Monday that One Direction, Lorde and Fergie will perform at the November 23, 2014 ceremony. They join previously announced acts Charli XCX, 5 Second of Summer, Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige and Pitbull.

All three of the newly confirmed performers are currently pushing new music. Fergie recently debuted comeback single “LA Love (la la),” One Direction is now in the promotional cycle for album “FOUR” and Lorde toplines the soundtrack for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.”

In addition to performing, Pitbull will host the annual music awards ceremony.
