Meghan Trainor to Appear on NBC’s “TODAY” Show

This past summer, just as her “All About That Bass” was beginning to take off, Meghan Trainor received valuable exposure on NBC’s popular “TODAY” morning show.

This November, she returns to the show with a triple-platinum single and a buzzworthy follow-up.

In a promotional alert for her new single “Lips are Movin,” label Epic Records confirmed that Trainor will appear on the November 3 edition of “TODAY.” NBC typically issues its formal “TODAY” schedules two weeks in advance, so additional details on the episode will likely emerge at the end of next week.

Trainor, whose triple-platinum “All About That Bass” is enjoying a sixth week atop the Billboard Hot 100, will have an active media presence this November. In addition to the 11/3 “TODAY” appearance, Trainor will be nervously seated at the 11/23 American Music Awards, where she is in the running for New Artist of the Year. Her Nickelodeon HALO Awards performance then airs on November 30.

All the while, new single “Lips are Movin” will be working to occupy the radio airwaves.
