Hot 100: Tove Lo’s “Habits” Hits #7, Clean Bandit Goes Top 10

For the fourth consecutive week, Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” reigns atop the Billboard Hot 100.  For the fourth consecutive week, Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” settles for the runner-up spot.

Do not let that repetition fool you into thinking the top ten is without change.

The variation begins at the #3 position, which welcomes a rebounding “Anaconda.”  Up one place this week, the Nicki Minaj tune benefits from double-digit percentage increases in airplay and streaming.

Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora)” returns to its #4 peak this week, while Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang” slips two places to #5.  Sam Smith’s “Stay with Me” holds at #6.

One of the week’s biggest changes then comes at the #7 position.  There lands Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High),” which rises six places from last week’s position.  It is the song’s–and the artist’s–first appearance in the top ten.

Ariana Grande’s “Break Free (featuring Zedd)” follows at #8, while Jeremih’s “Don’t Tell ’em (featuring YG)” rises one place to #9.

Also up one place this week, Clean Bandit’s crossover smash “Rather Be (featuring Jess Glynne)” reaches a new peak of #10.
