Ratings: FX’s “The Bridge” Viewership Rises Again

In addition to matching last week’s rebounded demo rating, Wednesday’s edition of “The Bridge” garnered an improved viewership average.

Once again responsible for a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, the FX drama drew an audience of 1.28 million viewers Wednesday. An increase of 8% from last week’s total, the tally is the third largest drawn this season.

Only the July 9 premiere (1.50 million) and July 23 episode (1.29 million) drew more viewers.

After garnering just 0.82 million viewers for its August 13 episode (with a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating), “The Bridge” has enjoyed four consecutive weeks of viewership improvements. Whether those increases–which, while welcome, do not change the reality that “The Bridge” is a little-watched series–will help garner the show a third season remains to be seen.
