The Black Keys, Cage the Elephant Score at Alternative Radio

On the heels of an ascent into the Top 30 of Mediabase’s official airplay chart, The Black Keys’ new single “Gotta Get Away” enjoys another week as one of the alternative format’s most-added songs.

“Gotta Get Away” landed at an additional 13 monitored stations this week. The total, which ties that of Cage the Elephant’s “Cigarette Daydreams,” was the largest for an alternative song this week.

Following last week’s tie with “Gotta Get Away” for most-added, Death from Above 1979’s “Trainwreck 1979” settles for third-most-added honors. It launched at 8 new stations this week.

Fitz and The Tantrums’ “Fools Gold,” which reached the Top 40 this week, also received 8 monitored adds.

Jack White’s “Would You Fight for My Love?,” the week’s fifth-most-added alternative song, won support from 6 stations.
