Blake Shelton’s “Neon Light” Goes Top 30 at Country

While Blake Shelton’s “Neon Light” has thus far failed to make major waves on iTunes, it is having no trouble finding an audience at country radio.

On the strength of 1,781 to-date spins, the lead single from Shelton’s “Bringing Back the Sunshine” enters the Top 30 on the latest edition of Mediabase’s rolling country airplay chart. That spin count, which reflects only four days of airplay, was the 29th-largest for the seven day period between August 15 and 21.

Shelton’s tune had garnered 14.52 million impressions as of August 21. That was the format’s 27th-largest during the measured period.
