Ratings: FX’s “Tyrant” Has Another Solid Outing

While FX’s “Tyrant” took a 5% hit in the total viewership column this week, it held steady in the crucial adults 18-49 demographic.

Tuesday’s episode, which was the ninth “Tyrant” broadcast, drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.45 million viewers.

Even with last week’s showing, the 0.6 rating represents a shared series high for the freshman drama. Last week’s episode, the June 10 premiere and the June 24 episode each posted a 0.6 rating.

Each of the other five episodes scored a 0.5 in the coveted adults 18-49 demo.

Not yet renewed for season two, the stable “Tyrant” continues to make a solid case for that honor. The fact that it routinely outperforms sophomore drama “The Bridge” is presumably also of benefit to that cause.
