First Look: The Madden Brothers Perform on “The Tonight Show”

Hoping to establish themselves as Great Charlotte (or is it Better Charlotte?), Joel and Benji Madden–The Madden Brothers–perform on Tuesday’s edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

The twins, who rose to fame as founding members of Good Charlotte, take the stage in an effort to build momentum around their new act.

Despite receiving positive marks from critics, The Madden Brothers’ debut single “We are Done” has stalled at the pop and hot AC formats. As of press time, it was #31 on Mediabase’s rolling pop airplay chart and #38 on the rolling Hot AC listing.

While a performance like this will not notably affect airplay, it could serve to restore heat to the project.

Airing as part of Tuesday’s “Tonight Show” broadcast, The Maddens’ performance follows host Jimmy Fallon’s interviews with Pierce Brosnan and Tavi Gevinson.

First look photos from the taping follow. A video of The Madden Brothers’ performance also follows:
