Florida Georgia Line’s “Dirt” Surges to #1 on iTunes Sales Chart

Florida Georgia Line’s new single is definitely not stuck in the “Dirt.”

Heavily hyped as a song that would not only continue the duo’s commercial hot streak but garner critical acclaim, “Dirt” rocketed up the iTunes chart following its release at midnight on Tuesday.

By mid-day Tuesday, the song had eclipsed MAGIC!’s “Rude” to rank as the #1 song on iTunes’ overall single sales chart. And based on its current sales pace, it should be able to spend the remainder of Tuesday in that peak position.

The recipient of a multi-platform launch that included the iTunes (and streaming service) debut and early action at country radio, “Dirt” also received an immediate video release Tuesday.
