Kiesza’s “Hideaway” Scores Impressive Early Support at Pop Radio

When attempting to gain traction for a debut single, most artists would celebrate early support from one major market pop radio station.

This week, Kiesza’s international hit “Hideaway” scored early adds from five of them.

According to Mediabase, “Hideaway” landed at New York’s Z100 and 92.3 AMP, Los Angeles’ KIIS and 97.1 AMP and Chicago’s B96.

Those five adds–and additional ones from Las Vegas’ 104.3 NOW and My 93.1, Palm Springs’ 97-7 KRCK and Burlington’s Planet 96.7–all come in advance of the song’s official July 1 impact date.

The debut single from Canada’s Kiesza, “Hideaway” has reached #1 on key charts in the Netherlands, Scotland and the broader UK market. The official video, which is embedded below, has attracted more than 38 million views.
