Miranda Lambert’s Album Sales Estimates Adjusted Up; 170K+ Likely

Thanks to a stronger-than-expected first day performance, Hits Daily Double is elevating its sales forecast for Miranda Lambert’s new studio album “Platinum.”

The publication, which first released a projected total of 130-150,000 first week sales, is now eyeing a launch in the 170-180,000 range.

If the current estimate holds, “Platinum” will easily post the biggest sales week of Lambert’s career. Previous album “Four the Record” set Lambert’s previous high mark with a debut total of 133,000.

Lambert will debut at a dominant #1 on next week’s Billboard 200 chart.
