Nico & Vinz’ “Am I Wrong” Goes Top 40, MAGIC’s “Rude” Erupts

Two recent pop breakthroughs enjoyed explosive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

International smash “Am I Wrong,” which recently debuted to a burning reception from American audiences, catapulted into the Top 40 on Billboard’s definitive single track chart. Up 28 places from last week’s chart position, the tune reached a new peak of #26 on the Hot 100.

While not yet a Top 40 hit, MAGIC!’s “Rude” was actually the chart’s biggest gainer. The song, which is gaining considerable ground at radio and on iTunes, surged 35 places to #62 on the Hot 100.

Other big gainers included Rixton’s “Me & My Broken Heart” (#14, +15), Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You” (#80, +14) and Calvin Harris’ “Summer” (#18, +8).
