“The Voice'”s Josh Kaufman, Christina Grimmie Score iTunes Bonuses

Update: The voting window is officially over, and both Josh Kaufman and Christina Grimmie have secured iTunes multiplier bonuses.

Courtesy their respective covers of “I Can’t Make You Love me” and “How to Love,” the two “The Voice” hopefuls remained in the top ten through the close of voting at 12PM ET. As of press time, Kaufman’s song was #2 on the overall iTunes Single Sales chart, while Grimmie’s number was #5.

The approximate chart positions as of 12PM ET:

Contrary to the title of his latest number, Josh Kaufman can definitely make America love him. And his song selections.

For the second time in three weeks, “The Voice” contestant Josh Kaufman will secure a weekly iTunes bonus.

Kaufman’s rendition of “I Can’t Make You Love Me” required less than three hours to vault into the top ten on the iTunes Overall Single Sales chart. It is currently #6.

Certain to be in the top ten when the voting closes at 12PM ET, the recording’s sales count will be subject to a 5x multiplier when used in the calculation of Kaufman’s weekly vote.

The Team Usher member previously secured a bonus for his rendition of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”

And Josh Kaufman was not alone in repeating a trip to the top ten (and scoring a bonus).

For the second consecutive week, Team Adam member Christina Grimmie also reached the top ten. As of press time, her take on “How to Love” was #9.

While no other Top 8 track was yet flirting with the top ten, all had made at least a minor dent on iTunes. The latest chart positions are as follows.
