A&E’s “Bates Motel” Ratings Slip for “Meltdown”

Last week’s edition of “Bates Motel” might have earned stellar marks from critics, but it failed to hook the entirety of its audience for the subsequent broadcast.

This Monday’s “Meltdown,” that broadcast, slipped to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 2.10 million viewers.

The show’s second-worst performance to date, it was down 20% in the young adults demographic and 14% in viewership from the prior week’s telecast.

Two episodes remain in the second season of A&E’s “Bates Motel,” which was officially confirmed for a third season earlier this month.
